Welcome to The Mycorrhizal Network — A network of faith, family, and fellowship — rooted in God’s design for community.
The Mycorrhizal Network, WoodFrog Hollow, and this blog are the fruit of my desire to build a sustainable, Christ-centered, and intentional life for myself and my children. At its core, this is a love letter to them — and a reflection of the love our Heavenly Father has for all His children.
I think of my kids every single day, especially when we’re apart. Current circumstances don’t allow me to be with them as often as my heart longs to be. So, in faith and hope, I am building this network — this family, this home — as a gift for them to receive when the time is right. I trust in God’s perfect timing and His ability to restore what has been broken.
I invite you to join me in cultivating a community grounded in Christ’s love — one built on support, honesty, grace, and intention. This isn’t just for my children — it’s for yours too, and for anyone seeking a place of peace, growth, and belonging.
This is a place of teaching and learning, of sowing seeds and bearing good fruit. Let all we do be done in love (1 Corinthians 16:14). Please respect one another. We are not here to tear down, but to build each other up, just as Christ calls us to (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Why “Mycorrhizal”?
In creation, the mycorrhizal network is a living system of fungal roots that connect trees and plants — quietly sharing nutrients, strength, and life. It reflects how the Body of Christ is meant to function: many parts, one Spirit, deeply connected in love and mutual care (Romans 12:4–5).
This is my dream for The Mycorrhizal Network — that we grow together in wisdom and grace, bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and pointing each other toward Christ.
As long as the Lord enables me, this network will remain — a resource, a testimony, a place of refuge — for us to return to again and again.
Living intentionally. Loving abundantly. Trusting eternally.

“This is the true joy in life: Being used for a purpose recognised by yourself as a mighty one, being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little cod of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I draw breath, it is my privilege to do for it what I can. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have to make burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.”
– George Bernard Shaw
