I think my favorite part about living in my Yurt, is that I have the freedom to change whatever I want, however I want, and whenever I want.
This weekend, after making some serious decisions regarding the layout of my Yurt, the performance of the wood stove during the -50C cold snap we had in January, I chose to move my wood stove(the heating wood stove) from the center to the outside, from wall facing back in towards the centre.
Along the way, I made some changes to my desk as the legs of the IKEA desk were becoming wobbly, I removed them and placed the desktop atop my book shelves. Though I gave up one shelf for the kitties bed, as they fight over my chair in front of the wood stove.

The change in the living room is quite interesting, it feels more like it’s own room having the chairs on opposite sides of the Yurt.

When I had finished moving the wood stove to the outer wall, I spent one night without the chimney extended at least 10ft, and the cold air intake installed. The done did not perform very well there.
Now that I have those two pieces setup, the Yurt has not stopped below +27 inside..

Till next time. I love you all. Good night
