So much cooking!!!

It all started…. With a wood stove…. Then it grew, and expanded and now I find myself cooking 24L of chili from dried beans, biscuits with onion, molasses and corn meal, and so much more!

This was the first batch of biscuits I made with just onions and molasses in them.

I’ve since made more with onions, molasses and corn meal to go with all the chili I’ve made!

This chili begins with an initial quick soak and cook, them I drain, add fresh bacon bits, onions and molasses, cooking them for approximately 45 minutes in a pressure cooker at 250C thereby caramelizing the molasses. Mmmmmmm

I had a total of 43 jars of chilli today!
