I’ve been working on the front half of the Yurt so much I forgot to show you the back half!
Bedroom – the bed is suspended with ratchet straps currently, but will be changed to a pulley system to allow me to raise the bed entirely to store it giving more floor space, or to have it raised up in the winter for warmer sleeps, or to lower it to the floor for cooler sleeps in the summer.
Bathroom/shower – I’ll be closing the bedroom off on the left side here to create a space for a bathroom and shower! It’ll have it’s own door and sink.
Kitchen/walk in pantry – so just like before I’ll have a walk-in in pantry that is behind a fold down counter top. I don’t know if I’m going to add a door to this or not.. haven’t decided yet.
This is inside the walk-in pantry space. So actually larger than the last! So much so the door from the previous is 2 feet too small
The new loft – I have to still extend the floor if the loft on two sides because the new height of the walls and rafters makes the space larger by almost 50%!
The kids – and myself now have the ability to stand straight up in the loft instead of “standing” on our knees.
